If all else fails for some reason and none of this works out...

STOP PAYING YOUR DAMNED TAXES!

We are literally funding our own oppression.

“Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one; for when we suffer, or are exposed to the same miseries by a government, which we might expect in a country without government, our calamity is heightened by reflecting that we furnish the means by which we suffer...” ― Thomas Paine, Common Sense

You've forgot about the inflation tax, fren.

Right, because it’s optional.

Idiot.

Um, it is. Mark yourself exempt. I've done it before and known plenty others who have too. (usually to avoid taxation on work bonuses).

Do you just do that once? I almost did on accident today. I'm working a lot of OT this week so I want it all. Lol!

Yes, bonuses come once a year and I only do it once for bonus time.

Note that he only claims exempt for one pay period when he gets the bonuses, then back to exemptions. I suggest maybe don't go exempt, but increase your exemptions instead.

And then you can get audited and harassed by the IRS for doing that. It's not just optional and you will be told that you must pay that money back with penalties or face jail time.

So yeah, you can do what you say at the risk of goons coming and wrecking your life. What you suggest is reasonable only if everyone else does that too, which you know isn't going to happen...

If millions of people did this on a massive scale then the government would be in a frenzy and have a pretty tough time sending agents to harass millions of people.. I kind of get the vibe that you would've cowed to the British back in the day.

I mean if its one week, then I'll just pay taxes at the end of the year?

You'll wind up having to pay up when you file... you can potentially owe penalties for not paying within the quarter you were supposed to pay as well, so it's up to you if you want to play the game of managing your taxes completely on your own and paying last minute within each quarter....

You can't just not pay taxes within the quarters and only pay at the end of the year either, there are penalties that aren't cheap if you miss the quarters.

I'm just relaying the rules of the game. You can try and bend or break them at your own risk but just be careful. You certainly can just NOT pay taxes and just expect to get away with it - doing that can fuck your world up.

Also, just to make this game even more fucked up, there are the state taxes and social security and Medicare and yadda yadda yadda...

I didnt think you had to pay quarterly I just thought it was more convenient.

Taxes are theft anyway.

Why do we get taxed on top of already taxed money.

This whole shit needs to be overthrown.

Businesses have to pay quarterly. Many businesses find enough expenses, credits and other write-offs so that they pay very little.

I agree, I just can't recommend people do things that are going to wind up getting them fucked.

If there was something better organized that we can trust, that's better.

If just a small amount just go "I'm not paying taxes" they'll just be made examples of and have their lives ruined, but if we get a massive legion of people doing that, sure...

What sucks is how immediate they can pick up on this shit and squash it out if it's even attempted.

Either way, going back to that bonus thing - yeah you get taxed on that but you do get that money back if you overpaid when you file. You're just giving the government a free loan in the meantime...

It must be done legally, there are many ways. Only shills act like this isn't true! I mean, millions of people are already doing it, and they do it with legal methods.

I just changed mine to hopefully get less taxes taken out.

I dont need to give them free interest loans.

You can’t! They will garnish your wages. They get it before the bank does
