He's one man.
He signed up to make America better. Getting in their way for four years did exactly that. We don't have appreciation for where we'd be had they not spent all their energy obstructing him. But now that we don't have him in their way, we'll certainly be wishing he was still there. He's not handing them anything. They spent 4 years "resisting" a transfer of power. They just don't have to "resist" that anymore.
Do you blame him... he's one man, everyone but us and a handful of ploiticians has stabbed him in the back.

Remember, all the state legislatures controlled by Republicans in the swing states did not get the job done. Other than the blaming the cheaters in the first place -- the legislatures (and Repubs. in Congress) are the ones to blame!

But if a new president isn’t sworn in, the order of succession comes into play. If the first two in that order (Speaker of the House and Senate President) are under arrest for illegal dealings with a foreign enemy, the third in that order (Secretary of State) will be the acting president until the issue is resolved.
The order of succession is:
Current President and VP term ends on 1/20 so they’re out. President Pro Tem is elected and appears to currently be Senator Grassley. I thought it was the turtle. Either way, if crazy Nancy isn’t available, someone other than Biden would be president until the election is resolved if the insurrection act is invoked and martial law declared.
