This is incredibly important! If the punishment does not fit the crime, a juror can find a defendant INNOCENT! This results in either a mistrial, or an innocent verdict. This may be one of our last legal avenues left to defeat the insane leftist cult in courts. SPREAD IT TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW! The best part? If the media reports on it, now even more people know about it! This is especially important for our gun rights! Any tyrannical gun laws being prosecuted NEED TO RESULT IN THIS!

That's one of the functions of a jury, nullification of unconstitutional or unequally applied law. Unjust prosecution of the colonists was one major reason for the American Revolution--trial without jury. And if FedGov does not like this they were the ones who put the provision in to begin with.
You're right in thought but not in wording. Jury can find not guilty if the prosecutor grossly overcharged the crime.
