GET THE FUCK OFF DUCK DUCK GO! DuckDuckGo.com - Yet another lefty search search engine. A simple "news" tab search for "election" recently turned up article links to CNN, Wash Post, ABC, Politico, CBS, USA Today as the top 7 results. A simple web search for "Trump" produced left-wing news articles at the top of the page by the same lefty "news" outlets. Use 4conservative instead.

qwant is nice, but based in france... unfortunately, DDG is our best US based option ATM that I can see.

I use startpage.com. Most private search engine on the planet. Endorsed by privacy advocate Dr. Katherine Albrecht. DDG has no such endorsement that I am aware of.

Duck Duck Go is an anonymity and search aggregate, it searches google, bing, and a number of other crawlers / indexers without storing or sharing your search history. That is it's purpose. Of course it's going to return "lefty" stuff in the news feed but I don't think it's curated as such. Even 4conservative returns fakenews on the "all news" tab.

4Conservative is part of a network of filtered search results but it certainty isn't a conservative organization.

I do agree it would be nice to filter out specific returns but that is perhaps best done in a browser extension, like de-mainstream for Youtube.

True. And they also show wikipedia. But it diverts traffic from Google, doesn't track you and it gets less biased results. That's what matters.

This guy is on the DDG board of directors https://www.alsop-louie.com/team/stephen-mendel/

managing director and executive vice president of In-Q-Tel in charge of its venture capital activities

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In-Q-Tel

Origins of the corporation can be traced to Ruth A. David, who headed the Central Intelligence Agency Directorate of Science & Technology in the 1990s and promoted the importance of rapidly advancing information technology for the CIA. In-Q-Tel now engages with entrepreneurs, growth companies, researchers, and venture capitalists to deliver technologies that provide superior capabilities for the CIA, DIA, NGA, and the wider intelligence community.

DDG was founded with taxpayer funds via In-Q-Tel and now the guy who gave that money to DDG sits on the board of directors, where he has extra sway because he brought the money. Just for some extra bonus nepotism, the In-Q-Tel guy is the founder of DDG's uncle.

Yandex. Russians don't give a fuck about American politics, other than thinking we are crazy, and we don't care about their filtered political views. Win Win.

Is startpage any good?

I can recommend yippy. The russian search engine yandex will not be pro deep state at least. dogpile aggregates results from multiple search engines.

Hard to find search engines that don't default to globalist sources, but since they control 90% of the media, that's understood.

DDG is just as bad as Google.

How? Iv used DDG since my days monitoring the Silk Road.

Long live Dread Pirate Roberts.

DDG piggybacks off of Google Search's algorithms.

Often times DDG gives me worse results than Google themselves and usually has the same censoring or low-prioritizing of certain websites that Google has.

If I had enough space in my garage I'd start my own search engine.
