I suppose all those national guards, and the ones deputized as US Marshalls, and the fences, and the checkpoints, and these buses, are all there for some protestors - who aren't there?

Where exactly are all the protestors who all of these things are supposedly in place to stop? Are there flight or bus itineraries, or large caravans (apart from Central America I mean), or a whole bunch of angry old codgers on foot with their walkers slowly making their way to DC? From a logistical perspective, where is the alleged enemy coming from?

I don't mean to sell hopium (although, for the right price ...), but seriously - where is the threat? Is there even one protester out there? i don't know, I admit, because I refuse to watch the MSM so maybe someone braver than I can look at that swill and let me know.

Because if there is no threat anywhere on the horizon now, and without going straight into the round-up game, then why is all of that in place?
