a soldier is a troop. 1 soldier = 1 troop.

LOL my dad would agree. he is a Marine (Vietnam), and he always will be.

i was in 1st Ranger Bat, then EOD. some of us Army guys can still = 1 Marine.

Well I feel like a complete idiot now, lol!!! I’m such a girl...my LORD. I was wondering how even 30,000 “troops” would FIT in the capitol. I thought a troop was like 100 soldiers. Lol. Sorry.

don't feel bad. my wife thought the same thing a few days ago. the subject had never come up when we talked about my time in the army. troop definition is a rare subject. LOL
