I just want to live my life. Most employers make you wear a mask now. People can say what they want about masks but they CANNOT say we have any semblance of real freedom in this country, or the rest of the world for that matter.
My grandma refused to wear a mask at her job for a long time, due to her having breathing issues with it on. A couple weeks ago, people started complaining to her work about her. When they told her she had to wear the mask, she fuckin' quit!
I work in construction. If they mandate vaccines I'm fucking gone, and I bet dollars to donuts 95% of the entire crew is gone too. Which means construction stops
I started getting migraines after having to wear a mask all day for a few days in a row. I'm lucky, I don't have the bad headache, but I get the aura and go blind for a good 15 minutes, and I get all the post drome for the rest of the day and sometimes the next day. So at this point it's more dangerous for me to wear one, because I could go blind at any second. I could be driving and kill more people than I would have "killed" breathing my nose air 5 feet away from someone.
Hoping my based doctor can write me an exemption, then I think, what the fuck will this all be when sniffy Joe seizes power?
Honestly in strict places like trader Joe's I keep it loose around my nose. Literally anywhere else at this point I've been leaving it under my chin for 90% of my time in a store! No one seems to care!
These mask commandments are not law unless your state's legislature has passed such a law. Your local yokels only have/had limited ability to temporarily compel mask-wearing and then their power to do that stops. This has been tested in court and the people have won. . .but remember, the law--the actual law--is what most of the people will submit to do. If they won't submit, en masse, then it is not the law.
