What is wrong with Republicans is not the same thing as what is wrong with conservatives. Conservatives have always understood that a large component of the human mind is comprised of atavistic animal impulses known as the Id, filled with visceral appetites, brutish instincts and irrational rages and fears. There's no way to intelligently appeal to a mind given over to the leftism that actively promotes these troglodytic responses.
