The problem with our leadership over the last few years, and especially this last year, was the constant appeals to some higher power to save us.
There was always this calling out of the unfairness, the double standards, the wrong doings.
It's like they didn't understand they were the people that were supposed to be stopping it. The last line of defense. The final barrier.
There was no one higher that was going to step in to save us and them.
It was up to them, and they chose not to.
