We've had a mask mandate since April 2020. Levine released daily videos instructing us on how to wash our hands. PA was locked down hard for many months. Many business closures. They went after the bars and restaurants the hardest. It's been almost a year since I could walk inside a Wendy's and order a hamburger - many restaurants became take out/drive thru only. Schools have been closed for in person learning since March 2020 in some areas, but may allow kids to start back in mid Feb or March 2021. The early nursing home deaths were a main driver of the first + second quarter 2020 casualties. No, even ignoring any judgement on sexual preferences or whatever, PA isn't a leader in the Rona virus response. The death rates are climbing again too. Purely a political appointment, as other states had a better response. We basically followed what Cuomo did for many months. Unemployment is currently screwed up as well, and many people haven't gotten benefits since late 2020, so expect more homeless and desperate people.
