I am a little confused and prefer not to be, but need clarification. Who is assembling these troops? Is this a GEOTUS request and I should be optimistic or is this a move from the swamp and I should expect shenanigans.

Some people say its the swamp protecting biden. But people need to understand it was trump that signed the Emergency order in DC and sent the NGs there. I dont think people understand that.

if true, why are the NG being vetted to make sure any that have supported or voted for trump are not deployed in critical areas? this has been reported multiple times on warroom, and oan.
It's absurd decision, if they actually do that, Trump knows exactly where the proven loyalists are and can activate them.

So can the Congress, at least to DC. Governors have their own states National Guard and they call them up. The thing to note is, the President can take control of those NG units but he isn't required to call them up.

Congress, Governors, and the President can call up the National Guard and have over the years. You provided evidence that the President calls up the NG and that is true. So do Congress and states Governors. That's also true. So you stated fact, just not all the facts. Have a nice day.
All NG in DC are ordered there by POTUS (or by Sec Def Miller)
And every soldier there is under the command of POTUS as the CiC.
