What's sickening is the fact that people predict we're gonna go into a land like that of Scar, and our leaders are going to just let it happen. Why even let it get to that fucking point?

Because people are terrified of leaving their living room. Any legitimate discussion of what must be done and you are labeled a glowfag.

Nothing will be done until there have been mass killings and people are starving to death. Ask yourself why didn’t the citizens do anything in any political coup or communist/fascist uprising? How long did it take for them to do anything?

Yup. People think it won’t happen to them. It’s a tale as old as human kind.

Another issue is that the people that do stand up are immediately vilified. See Jan 6. A person was shot and killed and it wasn’t enough to enrage the masses enough to act.
