I've actually noticed a couple like that lately after a 30 year or so hiatus. Not sure how to explain that. Could be that there are a few rebel CEO's out there that are tired of the nonsense. More likely they realize who spends all the fucking money on their products and has decided to advertise to them now that their businesses have been screwed all to hell and back last year. If that's the case, they can try, but I will take their past advertising into account for sure. Black woman good, white man bad? Won't buy your products even if I end up spending more. Have fun selling to black women.
I haven't seen a commercial since then that allowed the man to appear more intelligent than the woman.

This really bothers me as well. Sick of men being portrayed as dumb in commercials.
