When I realized that the way gays speak in the US, with the overly feminized vocals, is NOT how gay people talk in European nations where being gay is not a political or identity group, I realized they're not "born that way". They may be born gay, but their imposing behavior and assumed personality is entirely optional.

In nations where being gay is not a big deal because nobody gives a shit because there never was regulation or meaningful resistance against it, gays act and look like anyone else, they just form partnerships with dudes.
