so it comes to pass in a socialist government -- they gain power, but mostly status, by teaming up as fetid useless idiots, a confederacy of dunces. they would never be important in a rational world, and they know it. instead of trying to be useful, learn a trade, or help another fellow human, they try to jump to the top by doing favors for other false leaders.
