The pessimistic ones aren't going to be the ones all doomy and gloomy whether they are proven right or wrong. Acknowledgment of reality is clarity. Nothing more.
Agree, but keep your head up and shoulders back, regardless. Don't let anyone see you in defeated posture. They will feel dominant over you and we can't have that
And if things somehow happen, don't rub their face in it. Same deal. Confident and poised.
