The key here is that fault is that one has expectations. I've been joking all week that I am taking massive rips off the hopium, however, I still have no expectations one way or the other. They are not mutually exlusive. The difference then, is that I am just acknowledging the possibility that such good outcomes may come to fruition, whereas the doomers simply refuse the prospect.
