They’ll agree with absolutely anything those people say, because they believe the celebrities are their superiors: the epitome of civilized society, fashion, morality, and mental superiority.

It is called AUTHORITY REFERRENCE.

It is exactly the kind of thing that one gets when children never grow up.

Someone else is always smarter and cooler and POPULAR.

shallow as a vernal pond in August.

Barely Damp.

The more you realize how evil it all is and that these people are controlled slaves, pushing an agenda, or trying desperately to keep their own sick behavior from coming to light, you’ll have less affection for them.

Good for you for your self awareness! That's the first step. I'd recommend looking up some books, therapy blogs/sites, checking online video media, etc. Information is your friend. God bless you and NEVER stop working on yourself. Also, I'm not a programmer or anything but I LOVE the "patching" analogy! That's such a good way to explain working on yourself and rethinking the way you see things.

I believe in most cases, these people don't believe in God at all and have replaced God with whichever celebrity. Also I've know two different liberal women from the UK who worship the royal family and felt the need to tell me all the gossip I didn't know about them. I really don't have any fucks to give about the royal family. Very annoying.

rootGoose 2 points ago +2 / -0

I’m dealing with someone on FB like this.

They constantly deflect responsibility to make judgment call on raw information, instead, they appeal to ‘authority’ - people no better than themselves but jobs to ‘tell stories’.

This is the case even when clear proof is presented to them.

Seems like you may be ine of those children that never grew up if you cant tell the difference.

They worship celebs because deep down inside they know they’re worthless trash humans themselves.

31
BabbleRabble 31 points ago +31 / -0

they worship celebrities because they have no God.

9
Changed_browser_lost 9 points ago +9 / -0

Which is the epitome of narcissism.

9
ConvergenceMan 9 points ago +9 / -0

Celebs are also worthless trash, except that they are rich and famous worthless trash.

This is why they worship celebs. Leftists want to continue being worthless trash, but also be rich and famous and the same time.

jdog 6 points ago +6 / -0

Liberalism is escapism and a phantasy.

19
Indefatigable_Winner 19 points ago +19 / -0

This also occurred to me yesterday. I was surrounded by leftists at work as they fawned over Anderson Cooper. I thought to myself that Cooper and all the other news readers are nothing but celebrities. I suppose people on the right do it too to some degree. Maybe seeing Tucker show his true side made many of us see this point, that they are nothing but empty headed celebrities.

16
Toobin247 16 points ago +17 / -1

It’s one thing to admire someone for their qualities or success, it’s another to blindly worship them. People in position power are still flawed. I like Trump but he has his flaws. He makes mistakes. Doesn’t change that he’s the best president I’ve seen and I used to loathe the guy. Non leftists are Abe to change their minds with new information. Leftists and normie liberals just stay in the mind rut and will resist you when you point out facts. Either to the benefit detriment of a popular figure.

6
DanIsSwell [S] 6 points ago +6 / -0

I’m sure we do it, to an extent. But, with Tucker or whoever, we liked that they said exactly how we felt. Instead of getting our views from them, we liked that they said what we were already saying. I wonder if that was maybe the whole point of their operation, just to act as our pressure valves, to angrily rant about all the injustice, so we would feel pacified, and not act on it. Anytime they said something contrary to our beliefs, we noticed right away, and were vocal about it. Like, when they would never mention pedogate, or they did the misleading stories about Biden “standing too close” to women, we were fucking pissed, because why were they trying to practically cover for him? We figured that for some reason, they weren’t allowed to go there, but assumed they knew all about it. And then, when they thought they had gained our trust, they deviated even more from our core views, that’s when we completely cut off all of it. That’s the way we pay attention and react. The left seems to follow blindly along, forever. Seems the only point of left wing msm (which is almost all of it) is pure propaganda and brainwashing, to insert views and beliefs into empty headed people, who wouldn’t know what to think, otherwise.

4
stepping_razor123 4 points ago +4 / -0

Tucker example I have gone through phases I look him up and like him and other phases I think he is a cuck and ignore him. That’s not celebrity worship it’s healthy IMO. I haven’t seen Tucker since Nov 3rd or even before.

1
Darth_Venath 1 point ago +1 / -0

Yes....but also no.

I usually come up with my opinions first, then seek confirmation.

I also test my bias regularly and allow others to test it for me. If my beliefs or opinions are weak and/or without merit, they crumble under even the lightest of scrutiny. Echo chambers are not good for personal growth.

When you point out musicians doing satanic rituals on stage, and even straight out saying satanic things, and wearing satanic symbols, they do every kind of mental gymnastics to defend it and make excuses. “That’s just the style, they’re not serious, it’s just a performance blah blah blah”

12
Salt_Cartoonist 12 points ago +12 / -0

They even see Biden as better because more celebs support him.

3
DanIsSwell [S] 3 points ago +3 / -0

Exactly

11
ikuyas 11 points ago +11 / -0

All of them watch TV shows, which are purely propaganda and mind-control device. TV programs are made to trigger some kind of brain nerves by the color and flash rate of the TV screens to put their brains into the hypnotic state. It is a result from the MKUltra and Scientology uses this technique also.

2
DanIsSwell [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

9
Toobin247 9 points ago +10 / -1

I have a liberal “friend” (I’ve been naturally distancing myself over time) who is like this. He also has anger issues, his son has anger issues. He also likes to be the center of attention and will be passive aggressive/condescending to you at random moments when you least expect it. And he brings race into conversation when ever he can. He also complains about having a small dick.

9
Fringe--dweller 9 points ago +9 / -0

Narcissists.

9
Toobin247 9 points ago +10 / -1

Actually I think you’re right. I saw him feign concern once. Facial expressions and all. It was weird. I dated a narcissistic chic once and she was the same way. You can tell they lack sincerity. When they do nice things it’s not out of being genuine, it’s about getting more virtuous clout for themselves.

They also all have a deep hatred for Christianity, but simultaneously defend Islam with their life.

Don't get it wrong, it's not Trump supporters they're after, it's Christianity.

They think by agreeing with them they are cool like them. Liberalism is a religion. Narcissistic to the bone.

4
DanIsSwell [S] 4 points ago +4 / -0

You see them on social media, following celebs, and replying to the celebs posts, fawning all over them and kissing their asses. Hoping to get noticed and gain acceptance from these people. Basically, waiting for the idols to throw them a scrap of recognition. Then they’ll be like “Oh my God, so and so liked my tweet!! She actually liked my tweet!” Fucking pathetic losers.

3
WhiteLash 3 points ago +3 / -0

Yep. They have also been engaged in a passive aggressive war with the rest of society using covid as the excuse to terrorize their friends and families.

3
Rokaroo 3 points ago +3 / -0

Because they don’t believe in God.

3
jtt888 3 points ago +3 / -0

Even if they don't follow Hollywood per se, they do make decisions based on their view of a person rather than what they actually do. Which is why they irrationally hated Trump. Because the only focused on his personality rather than the actual good actions. Style over substance. Same reason they loved Obama. Cause he looked right for them and sounded nice to them.

3

I've also noticed that celebrity worship is common in Godless societies. It's bad in America. Things ramp up to insane levels in places like Japan.

3

I remember when Odumbo had his first inaguration with all the greek god type shit on stage with him. It was a few weeks after that - that many of my friends and I went separate ways.

I saw it for the bullshit it was, they saw it as some sort of magical negro experience. Sadly, my wife's parents have been CNN all the way since then and are blaming all of the worlds ills on Trump.

So sad that they won't let anyone visit them in their house, they don't have a relationship with their only grandson and so on.

All of these things in their mind are Trumps fault. It's simply amazing.

3
intellectual-darkweb 3 points ago +3 / -0

It is their religion. Celebrities are their demigods. They worship them. The government is their god. They have their canon, clergy, and protocol for burning heretics.

3

Leftism is a religion. Celebrities, celebrity doctors/ leftist politicians/musicians/etc are the 'false idols' of today--they are WORSHIPPED. And if you don't agree, you are excommunicated. Shun the nonbelievers.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nRB8Jor8tPs (Charlie was the conservative led by his liberal "friends", right?)

3
TheNightJanitor 3 points ago +3 / -0

Some people like to be ruled over.

I will never understand that.

3
thisisatestof2 3 points ago +3 / -0

Not even celebs, but "Twitter celebs." I have a lefty friend on Twatter who has people worship him and fawn over his every Tweet. Why? He had one of Tweets featured in a Vox article or what not, so now the low IQ types worship him.

It's to the point when he will post about soem event ant people respond, "I was waiting to hear what you thought about X, you a soooooo right! "

2
LogicalPatriot 2 points ago +2 / -0

Really? I despise celebrities.

I'm a horrible liberal... I find faults in any one with any modicum of power or semblance of riches.

Remember back when us Liberals used to hate authority? .. gah the left is such pussies these days. They wouldn't even be able to keep up with the likes of the 80s...

2
ErmaMaggard 2 points ago +2 / -0

You are EXACTLY right! Most of the ones I know also seem to live beyond their means because they place an unhealthy amount of value on others' opinions of them. They seem to think that if you LOOK rich, you're rich (I've had past employment that proved to me that this theory is false time and time again) Also, they seem to have no savings, don't contribute to their 401K's, have bad credit and multiple bankruptcys. I assume it's because they love instant gratification and they pay no mind to being prepared for what might happen in the future.

2
DeniseN1583 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes! That would be my daughter-in-law! She “worships” so many of them.

2
slimcoat 2 points ago +2 / -0

Filling the gap in their lives because they don't have fathers and don't know the Father.

2
Rockonanon 2 points ago +2 / -0

The problem with celebrities is there is an unspoken message in everything they do: "Watching me is a great way to spend your time!" This is almost never actually true, and most people would be way better off actually DOING something with themselves rather than mindlessly consuming media. Celebrities are supposed to be so great, but no one ever points out that they essentially require millions of mental slaves in order to exist. What they never tell you, as you watch celebrities do their thing, is that they (the celebs) are the ones who are really living life, while you (the consumer) are passive and pathetic. I think breaking the spell of celebrity is one of the ways we can climb out of this cultural morass we are in. Thanks for posting, fren. This is an important point and a conversation we really need to have.

2
EllemenoP 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yes, they lust after power. They don't value integrity or morality - just influence.

2
Silverlily 2 points ago +2 / -0

I've noticed that too. Never was really impressed with any celebrity/royalty/rich person/etc. because they are still just people and usually shitty ones at that.

2
booga 2 points ago +2 / -0

Yup, I have never understood it. Celebrities are not special people (though they think they are). The amount of people that worship these people blows my mind.

2
bf4truth 2 points ago +2 / -0

some people are tools and useful idiots

2
Jaqen 2 points ago +2 / -0

And most younger celebrities were groomed by the older pedophiles, and have had related depravity normalized into their psyche over years of indoctrination and abuse.

These celebrity worshipers then chase after their own selfish fantasies, to the benefit of no one. Especially not their children, who are parked in front of screens for distraction, to afford the parents more time to waste.

Pop culture and the decline of a moral society. Incredibly sad to watch.

Hmmm... I don't see that in all my friends. I have some liberal friends who are very intelligent, but the trait I see is that they are people pleasers. They want to be nice. They don't want to take a risky position that will make people think they are not nice people.
