I have a liberal “friend” (I’ve been naturally distancing myself over time) who is like this. He also has anger issues, his son has anger issues. He also likes to be the center of attention and will be passive aggressive/condescending to you at random moments when you least expect it. And he brings race into conversation when ever he can. He also complains about having a small dick.
Narcissists.
Actually I think you’re right. I saw him feign concern once. Facial expressions and all. It was weird. I dated a narcissistic chic once and she was the same way. You can tell they lack sincerity. When they do nice things it’s not out of being genuine, it’s about getting more virtuous clout for themselves.
