So was at a 7-11 little while ago. At least 20 US Army Airborne (had AA 82nd Airborne patch) in store buying stuff. Had black patches with white star and indian head on one side and what looked like an upside down arrowhead with insignia in the arrowhead on the other side. I Asked, "Hope you all are here to do the RIGHT thing." He answered. "That is to be seen."

more casual. one guy on the phone with his wife. attitudes varied. Older / senior troops were more laidback. Couple younger guys were quiet and stoic. Funny you should mention some nervous ticks. Couple of sergeants were hanging back by the coolers seems a little out of it compared to others.
The pitch in the comment was more toward dropping.
