If they do nothing, they will do exactly what Trump did for 4 years until now, at least with this specific issue. So... nothing-burger really.

China just started the Uighar genocide, emboldened by a potential xiden presidency. Don't get me wrong they persecuted the Uighars, they have gotten worse in the past six months or so while we were dealing with the scamdemic.

Strictly a guess, but Trump was already going after China as much as he could and might've accelerated efforts in what was to be his second term. Given the situation, this is now publicized as Biden's problem to either accept or ignore the genocide. This will be his PR problem.
