China will try, but they'll have to earn it: Taiwan does have a fairly badassed navy (they bought and use US Naval assets, such as Aegis destroyers, etc).
They'll also scorched-earth everything on their way out (which means computer components such as motherboards and memory will get hella expensive, since China isn't the top producer of either.)
Czechoslovakia was pooched when the Germans decided they had enough of the massacre of German civilians and farmers in Sudetenland regardless of what anybody else thought or did.
Czechoslovakia is not even a real country. It was Slavic Belgium.
Going to have to read up on this. As someone with Danube Swabian ancestors I am aware of Yugoslavia’s concentration camps and slaughter of ethnic Germans but never heard of Sudetenland.
