This push to fly the flag upside down has come recently when a lot of misinformation is being spread around to mislead patriots. Perfect example are “armed protests “ at the capitol. Everyone smelled that a mile away. Now there’s the push for an upside flag which is disrespectful to our country. It’s only appropriate If you are signaling for immediate help. As I pointed out elsewhere, an example would be a distressed ship signaling to other ships.
Convincing people it’s ok to fly the flag upside down symbolically because of our nations distress is misleading. You’ll have a bunch of people tricked into what looks like anti American sentiments to others . It feels to me like a push to demoralize our nation guised as a patriotic gesture.
If I where wrong why would so many handshakes be pushing back on me so hard? I know we are in trouble, but I’m not going to give an inch to the propagandists. I love my country and I’m flying my flag correctly to signal that I’m standing strong and not done fighting.
