I sometimes question whether Trump could have negotiated amnesty with a host of stuff that'd make these people not want to stick around. English as the national language, banning any language except English from any school/business use, requiring fluency in English to obtain citizenship, making amnesty expire if they do not obtain citizenship in 10 years, forcing hospitals and such to require insurance or cash to render services, huge fees for sending money to central/south America, massive penalties for employing people off the books, etc. They always pork the shit out of stuff, so he could have done the same back.

All of that is unconstitutional. We're going to have to accept that the constitution disallows most nationalist policies, which is why revolution is the only way forward. We have to update the constitution to require things like voter ID.
