As much as I wish this were true, I doubt the the commanders in charge would share this information with rank and file soldiers, as least not until just before go time. Otherwise, you would have leaks just like this. If you were really going after corrupt politicians, you wouldn't want to tip them off so that they can hop on a private jet to some non-extradition country.
