Hey there centipedes, I need to ask some advice.

I have a small YouTube channel (in the range of 25k-75k subs) that serves a very niche community. I haven’t posted a ton recently, just enough to tell the algorithm and my viewers that I’m not gone. I’ve created this throwaway account because honestly I’m terrified of my audience finding out I’m die hard Trump/MAGA, and therein lies the advice I need:

My audience is a made up of a large majority of far leftists, I know just based on demographics. My content is not political, and I don’t really have any interest in making it so (not with this channel at least), but a few of my Patrons (I know, ew Patreon, but it’s how I make a third of my income :/) have started really pressuring me to make public statements denouncing Trump or they’ll withdraw support.

Now, I never expect anyone’s support to stick around forever, but the people threatening to (or already) boycotting are a sizable chunk of my income, and I know that many of the others will follow suit if my MAGA views come out. I hate that they’re essentially buying my silence but I really don’t know what to do.

I know that if I come out as full MAGA I’ll loose a huge chunk of my audience, and as much as I would love to count on my fellow ‘pedes to fill the gap, my content is really not geared towards the majority of us :/

The way I see it, I’ve got a couple options:

1. Keep my views to myself as I have been, and say nothing. I’ll loose some of my income, but not all of it, most likely.
2. Fully explain my views, including MAGA, and loose most of my income. (I have a day job that pays the bills, but only just barely. It’s not glamorous or gratifying in the slightest and I’d really love to become a full time entertainer.
3. Maybe be subtle with some of my views, but leave out MAGA. I’d probably end up getting cancelled or something by some of the far leftists, it’s happened before, but fortunately they didn’t know the full story, so I didn’t face the full wrath of the left.
4. Maybe start a new channel where I can more fully express myself, and maybe try to bring over some of the few MAGA viewers I know are there?

Or something else? I’m really caught between a rock and a hard place and I’d love any and all advice y’all can give me. I really don’t know where to be going here.

Also I’m happy to provide my normal account on here for a mod if they want to verify that I’m not a glowie.
