it totally depends on where you live and other factors. its one thing to vow to never vote for someone unless you believe in them 100% (a good policy imo), it's another to swear it off completely.
whatever any of you do i would encourage you not to give up on politics based on one election regardless of how screwy. i truly feel that this was a big part of the democrat's strategy. make politics so base level, so ridiculous and so off putting that normal americans mostly tune it out or simply submit themselves.
refusing to ever vote is just another form of submitting yourself.
