Its been like he's reading off a script provided to him by the deep state. Even in his farewell address, didn't mention the atrocities that just occurred and are still occurring against his supporters.
Instead said America will flourish, people will be prosperous and our future will be brighter than ever.
In the last speeches he's only condemned "the attack on the Capitol" and called for healing, unity, and finding common ground.

President Trump gave us the real hint on 1/6/21. "there's never been a time like this, where such a thing happened, where they could take it all away from us. From me, from you, from our country. This was a fraudulent election, but we can't play into the hands of these people. We have to have peace. So go home. We love you, you're very special. You've seen what happens, you see the way others are treated, that are so bad and so evil."
In my opinion, what actually was going on with that was the following. The reason for 1/6 was to prevent Antifa/BLM from overrunning DC if the Pence gambit had worked. The second it became clear that Pence would not help Trump, there was no valid reason for Trump supporters to remain in DC - in fact by remaining they would be supporting the enemy narrative, in a sense.
The larger fact of life here though, is that there wasn't a realistic prospect of flipping the swamp by that group of people. There was no sustainability, no true organization, and no list of demands, for one thing. I've said many times, the patriot movement was very handicapped in practice by its members' law abiding nature, their unwillingness to fight dirty and use street tactics.
Look, the left is not all powerful. Their ideas are ridiculous bullshit and people can see this. They have a phenomenal ability to self destruct. They are utterly unprincipled and very unattractive people personally. However, don't underestimate their ruthlessness and will to power. Scum who are laser focused on one goal, with no rules, can accomplish a lot. Don't kid yourself.

I've said it many times over the years, too. Until we get rid of this bullshit "moral superiority" we're basically tying our hands in a fight.
If we're not willing to get our hands dirty and be cunning, calculated, machiavellian, and ruthless, we deserve to lose.
