If conservative companies hire based solely on merit they will vastly outperform companies that hire by quota. That won't go over well.

I wonder then what comes next -- financial penalties on companies that dare hire white males or refuse to hire useless or dangerous people? Unable to get government contracts unless you have a SJW affirmative policy?

If I want to hire a product designer, I don't care if they are green or from Saturn, as long as they are good at what they do and get along with others and appear to be decent humans. if I have to hire someone solely because of sexual orientation or some aspect diversity, well, its over.

Consider this one: I had to pore over resumes for work term students rather late in the semester, so the best were gone. I found several with single digit grades in core courses! How does anyone get 6 percent in any course? Guess what -- they appealed and move on to the next semester, some of them increasing that 6% to around 30% and still moved on to the next term. 30 years ago, grades like that got you kicked out of university for a year to get your act together.
