I believe Trump or his family were threatened and he made the choice not to take this any further, I bet he made a deal for his safety. It would explain the rumors of him telling his friends and family to leave Washington at the drop of a hat. What I can't figure out is why there is so much National Guard in DC for an inauguration with literally no people? It just doesn't add up, no MAGA folks are going to show up? I've been checking the White House site and typically presidents sign a ton of Executive Orders on their last days. Haven't seen anything drop today.
