Daily reminder that treating others equally while they act in a racist manner against you is a losing move. Either everyone acts equally and we all benefit or no one acts equally and we go back to tribal wars. But some groups acting on racial prejudices while others act in good faith will always result in the kind and considerate groups losing.

I disagree. We're going to have to follow Christ's example and win folks over. While there are a lot of hateful sons of bitches, many just believe the wrong things about folks. Going out of your way to be considerate and kind can really help awaken people to the error of their ways and even if it's only 1 in 10 that's a huge amount democratically.

You forgot we don’t have a democracy.

Furthermore, kindness didn’t work on Hitler, or Stalin, or Mao. In fact, the only examples where it has worked were where it was used against rulers with Christian values.
