The 17th Amendment was the beginning of the end of our Republic. States no longer have an appointed representative in the Federal Government and lost their ability to keep the Fed in check.
Exactly. Imagine if Senators were at the total beck and call of the State Legislators as originally intended, and they imagined then what is happening now which is why they did it that way.
We'd also have 64 Senators that would never vote yes on an unfunded mandate.
You can call, email, mail, and protest at his office all you want. Also don't give that fuck a single dime. Rub it in every week, calling to see if they need donations and telling them to suck it.
Pretty sure they're already trying to do that, because some recently retired state employee I know was asking people to sign some petition to stop the recall effort. I really despise Andy Beshear and the state government workers who elected the tyrant.
He is and would still be governor if not for the damn teachers and other state government employees and retirees who were ticked that he wanted some very mild pension reforms. Funny thing is, Bevin was the first governor in forever to make sure state pension funds (there are several) were fully funded. Neither Beshear has done so as governor. Would love to see Bevin elected senator.
its so sad that because of all this i want to stop paying attention to politics altogether because i hate these people so infinitely much more after what they have one to us. ON THE OTHER HAND WE CANNOT IGNORE THEM NOW OR EVER becaue if we do, that's when they'll ram through all of the TERRIBLE DISASTEROUS POLICIES AND LAWS that will really destroy our country. unfortunately we have to watch these dispicable assholes like hawks
However, here's the best way to do it. Do it County or KY Leg district by district and get the sigs of people who voted in 2020.
GO to the State Rep's local office and present the list, call the media first, have cameras rolling.
And make it very sexy: "Whereas, the Republican voters of this district/county have determined beyond doubt that Mitch McConnell is wholly unfit for his office, having supported a Court of Star Chamber unbecoming of any Real American, much less a Senator. You are Hereby INSTRUCTED to introduce legislation to impeach or recall Mitch McConnell in less than 60 days. Disregard these instructions at your (political?) peril. Since there are no rules for recall, you can make the rules. Do not make excuses that no legislation means you have no ability, we aren't buying your "PRINCIPLES" Baloney."
Also, find your precinct committeeman or KY equivalent - this is a GOP position, not a public one - and demand they censure McConnell.
And here's on last thin: impeach/Recall first, then worry about Constitutionality. A favorite RINO "Principles" trick is to read the law as strict as possible to excuse themselves from not wimping out. That's not how it works. If it's iffy or in doubt, do it and let the Court decide. Don't prejudge it first.
Some states have recall provisions for elected state officials. But no state is allowed to recall elected federal officials. So unfortunately KY and the USA are stuck with that sleazy SOB Chyna Bitch McConnell for the next 6 years.
The insanity of these posts are unreal. The concepts of recalling, voting, pretty much any constitutional mechanism for combatting tyranny are GONE now.
These people do not CARE. Individual liberties are irrelevant. They will IGNORE the constitution.
These people are literally installing a fucking chinese proxy puppet using the US military in DC with the most troops ever present there since the civil war. (Numbers that are probably sufficient to invade canada and mexico SIMULTANEOUSLY)
They are employing all the tactics of a stalinist regime coming to power, most notably vetting troops for loyalty and building out a secret police to circumvent the constitution that they will ignore anyway.
Our greatest strength is collectively we aren't STUPID like the minions of the other side. I know exactly what they are doing because Ive read thousands of pages of history about it.
Everything they are doing works and there will be a lengthy period of darkness incoming.
Fuck the turtle. Go snort coke on a yacht with your ho ass wife and XiXi. The last couple days he’s really cranked it up. He’s very happy with himself. With each stupid thing he says, he puts one more shovelful of dirt on the grave of the GOP.
You can't recall a Senator. Only a governor.
The 17th Amendment made it that way. If we repeal the 17th the state legislatures can recall whomever they want whenever they want.
Just another reason to repeal the 17th.

1913 was a very bad year for freedom in the United States.
You can call, email, mail, and protest at his office all you want. Also don't give that fuck a single dime. Rub it in every week, calling to see if they need donations and telling them to suck it.
Well that sucks then and needs to be changed. LOL
AS A SERVICE TO THE REPUBLIC, JUST GO FORWARD AND HANG HIM IN A TREE BY HIS BALLS.
then use the evidence on film ....he intentionally sneezed on Atreyu trying to kill him with Covid before he could save the princess and the kingdom !
I'm all for that, live in KY, and personally guarantee you this state hates him and the recall would be approved. How we get this started?
Pretty sure they're already trying to do that, because some recently retired state employee I know was asking people to sign some petition to stop the recall effort. I really despise Andy Beshear and the state government workers who elected the tyrant.
just as a show of bipartisanship, McConell's district might be frauded too, given how much republicans DISLIKES him and yet he keeps his seat.
Matt Bevin is your new senator. Make it happen.
Mat is a good guy from the few times I heard him speak.
He is and would still be governor if not for the damn teachers and other state government employees and retirees who were ticked that he wanted some very mild pension reforms. I was wondering why he went away I had not heard that.

There's no recall process in Kentucky.

6 Yrs of this cuck shit. Stick

Depends on the state constitution.
No state can recall a US Senator or a US Rep.

What ever happened to recalling Whitler and Gavin? These recalls don't seem to be working.
