You know, the US federal government has 24 trillion in debts, and another several trillion in unfunded liabilities. Almost all of this spending was imposed by the left. Well, fuck em, why should we have to pay any of those those liabilities? It's a blessing in disguise. Not only would we rid ourselves of the annoying leftists, but we could rid ourselves of their debt burden too. I mean, even if you buy their lie that Biden won, why do we have to put up with their shit anyhow?

If things go south quickly, they will not fuck around.

Please understand that this is not even possible unless Texas does it by force and executes a new State constitution. Won't happen and the State will not get the votes needed to put this into motion. To many dam minorities. I do like the think, I live in Montana and we have talked about this but the chance for us is 1 to 1,300,000 that it would pass. TRUST ONLY TRUMP 2020 AND BEYOND!

Rediculous! Texas is 150% self sufficient. The US would be hurt badly if this happened. Would not be good for the US. But I think that would be the point.

Why would any business want to go to a communist country? Internet would literally work the same way it does in different countries unless the US actually blocks Texas. Even then, the loss of the internet wouldn't necessarily be the end of the world would it.

I do not think they would actually 100% shutdown all communication, plus its likely that if Texas secedes, others will follow it anyways so it wouldn't just be Texas in the end but we have to take the first step towards the goal.

Texas has a fairly independent power system. "The Texas grid is called ERCOT, and it is run by an agency of the same name — the Electric Reliability Council of Texas. ERCOT does not actually cover all of Texas. El Paso is on another grid, as is the upper Panhandle and a chunk of East Texas. "

It also has oil fields and oil refineries and ocean ports for trade.

Internet is the least of its problems -- even Cuba manages some interconnection with the rest of the world. It could probably just connect to Mexico, especially if they were to do without Netflix for awhile. Or satellite if neighbouring states cut it off.

Some business would leave. Others would move there.
