But hang on Trump keeps calling the 1/6 a violent assault on the Capitol, but it really wasn't. And it was instigated by Antifa anyway. Yet he seems to be following the official media line that it was his supporters being violent. When in reality none of his supporters were violent at all. So the Fake News that Trump called out for years, are suddenly telling the truth according to Trump? Why didn't he call out the Fake News on this particular subject and defend his supporters? Or was he threatened or did he just give up against overwhelming pressure? I think after 5 years of this BS, just about anyone would give up honestly. That man does not deserve what he has been put through.
It was a losing battle I guess, maybe he gave up maybe it was a political move. I don't think he's above throwing some people under the bus for the greater good. Hell maybe he knew the swamp would get drained tomorrow so he went with the flow.
