They are claiming that the reason people are leaving the republican party is because they are disgusted by the behavior of other republicans / Trump supporters at the Capitol on the 6th. They are hiding the fact it's really Trump supporters leaving because they are disgusted with the lack of support from the GOP.
This is going to backfire! It just helps their narrative that Trump supporters are crazy, violent extremists and will hurt Trump more than the republican party. Why do we continue to feed right into the left/media hands?
One the plus side, if all the Trump supporters leave the GOP and all the normal Rep are leaving because of the Trump supports, then that leaves the GOP with no base whatsoever, which is definitely a win-win.
