The government would collapse in 6-8 weeks

3
Captain-D 3 points ago +3 / -0

80 million people would get their wages garnished by the IRS and/or be audited and arrested.

3
MAGA_SCIENCE 3 points ago +3 / -0

They couldn't handle that workload. It would take them 1 year to get half of that set up. They would collapse in 8 weeks.

Captain-D 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think you are underestimating our government when it comes to collecting money they believe is theirs.

1
MAGA_SCIENCE 1 point ago +1 / -0

No I'm really not. They would have to target every business immediately and would throw the work load on them. That would fail unless major tax breaks were given. Then the problem is sensitive info going to the right employer. It would become a massive epic fuckup. They would then look to flat rate but even then they would be in trouble. It would require immediate compromise.

If you are in trouble with its. You are entitled to a court hearing. Appeal process. And one of the 3 options for courts involves not having to pay the fine first. Hahahhaa

1
MAGA_SCIENCE 1 point ago +1 / -0

I would take the most time consuming option and would not do anything virtual.

2
Captain-D 2 points ago +2 / -0

Ok well you go first and report back 👍

2
MAGA_SCIENCE 2 points ago +2 / -0

That's not how I suggested it. 80 million at once.

2
BostonVoter [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

The IRS employees wouldn't be going to work , once their paychecks stopped . Half of those employees wouldn't want to pay either

3
Cognito 3 points ago +3 / -0

This would be EPIC. The problem though is coordinating and getting THAT many people to agree to it. Will we have a platform to reach that many patriots?

2
TheRover 2 points ago +2 / -0

I don't know if it's even possible to change your W2 to not have any taxes taken out.

2
Captain-D 2 points ago +2 / -0

It's your W-4 that you change and you are correct in that your employer would not be complicit in tax evasion.

1
TheRover 1 point ago +1 / -0

I stand corrected fren.

2
Captain-D 2 points ago +2 / -0

No problem, the "stop paying taxes" posts irk me, because they are filled with faulty logic and we shouldn't be encouraging pedes to make harmful financial decisions based on well meaning but completely incorrect information on the internet.

If you only knew who I was

1
Captain-D 1 point ago +1 / -0

SIGH, if only....

1
BostonVoter [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Good point. But self employed and small businesses pay quarterly.

2
TheRover 2 points ago +2 / -0

Very true.

2
MindsetRoulette 2 points ago +2 / -0

They'd start seizing property to keep their cities complacent.

I say it's still worth giving it a try. Everyone should covert to Amish or see if local Indian tribes want to expand their territory/tribe.

Hell, they already call MAGA a cult. Let's make a religion and get that tax free status.

2
BostonVoter [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

All the property in the world doesn't. Create cash

1
MindsetRoulette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Ya, but I bet China would love to buy up all the land. I'd rather try to increase individual ownership of Americans owning America.

The most interesting would be using that Oklahoma ruling to undo tribal land contracts. Let native americans take back all that territory so it's out of Federal control.

Or the religious direction. Start buying land collectively to start communities centered around a church and it's members. Religious suburbs might create some interesting loopholes.

2
jollybygolly 2 points ago +2 / -0

The 100 Ringleaders would be savagely and publicly destroyed; then the other 80 million would meekly pay their taxes, plus any relevant fines.

2
BostonVoter [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

80 million people. Aka majority of people who WORK !

1
BostonVoter [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

If Trump told us to stop paying.? Would you do it ?

1
Annpi 1 point ago +1 / -0

Fema camps... and everyone that did pay their taxes would just have to pay double....

1
Annpi 1 point ago +1 / -0

Or just get a good tax advisor/accountant that can get you down to paying the bare minimuim... it will cost you but usually not as much as you'd save it taxes....

How does one not pay income and sales tax? Merchants won't sell without collecting taxes and taxes are taken out of paychecks automatically.

1
BostonVoter [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Sales tax is state. I was referring to Federal Income Tax

1
Proud_American 1 point ago +1 / -0

When you work, you fill out a w4 which denotes the amount of dependents you have. In turn, the taxes which are withheld are directly based on that info. You can re-file a w4 every quarter by law.

Bottom line, you can minimize your tax nut to be equivalent to the amount you owe as opposed to paying in more and getting a return. Your paycheck will be higher to reflect that change. Even if you don’t cut out on taxes, it’s better than giving them a free loan, especially in Q1 and Q2 when they are looking to pay the loan back with tax returns.

1
dildanusmaximus 1 point ago +1 / -0

I understand that but they catch that shit real quick. At least they did with me lol. I only reported half my income once to get a bigger chunk of what was stolen from me back. Now I have it set it up so I end up owing a little to avoid giving them an interest free loan each year. And if you resist theft from the IRS they will simply drain your bank account.

Bender4Prez 1 point ago +1 / -0

...that stopped with the 2020 revision on the w4.

Posts like yours provide no substance to the adult conversations

3
MindsetRoulette 3 points ago +3 / -0

And this does?

I think there's a lot American could learn about their taxes to prevent as much theft as possible.

1
BostonVoter [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

100% agree !

Imhr2dprtglowies 0 points ago +1 / -1

Most job automatically take out taxes.

Sales tax? How are you not going to pay that?

Property tax? If you own it the State will take your house. If the don't, the bank will.

Ad valorum tax? Can't register your car

Think guy. Think

1
BostonVoter [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

You're thinking too deep.

The statement i made was about saying Fuck it.

Let's be cavemen again for as long as it takes.

The government is broken.

Why Register a car, the government is corrupt .

Why pay property tax? The government is corrupt.

Just say Fuck it. Dont feed the PIG

1
MindsetRoulette 1 point ago +1 / -0

Even automatic tax deductions can be adjusted. Most over pay throughout the year.

Being an independent contractor paid corp to corp can have it's tax advantages.

Sales tax? Avoid buying and start trading labor/goods.

Property tax? Switch to renting for mobility, go more off the grid, or families could start huddling together.

Not to mention local adjustments that can be done with taxes. More States could use NYs trick of making their insane State trades Federally deductable. We could mass fight to low tax States.

Whether it be in protest or just to make the IRS sweat for a year. There are ways to reduce the theft and there's nothing wrong with discussing strategy or sharing information.

So get off your high horse just because you lack the imagination for brainstorming.

2
BostonVoter [S] 2 points ago +2 / -0

Wasn't this what started 1776?

Tax ?

0
Imhr2dprtglowies 0 points ago +1 / -1

No, not really. It was a combination of things. Also, unbeknownst to most Americans, the British really didn't care that much. We think they did, but you should see how they teach it in their history books

1
BostonVoter [S] 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well what is your Response to the government corruption?

That's all I can think of.
