It's that I know that many of them didn't even vote Trump in 2016. An even larger portion of you voted for Obama, and a subset of that group voted for him twice..... enthusiastically!
What is my point?
Things change. Four years is an eternity in politics.
Trump was the first person elected for President that many of us (myself included) personally had voted for. He won't be the last. They're going to fuck this up. Royally. It's what they do.
You’re not as cutting edge as you think.
People a lot older and wiser than you have come to the realization that voting is now a formality, at best. We have a on party system completely dominated by anti-American “representatives” who have been blackmailed, bribed or coerced.
“Fuck this up” is exactly what they’re trying to do. It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
i don't think i'm cutting edge
good luck with your older person crusade against everyone i guess.
Wiser person. Wiser.
good luck with your wise ass crusade then
Voted for Trump twice.
There is no 2022 and beyond
All the voting is rigged
you're not getting it.
"who did you vote for before that?" is kinda my point.
i also don't get this "it wasn't rigged in 2016 but it will for sure be rigged in each and every election going forward" mentality. makes no logical sense but whatever works for you i guess.
It makes total sense.
Now it's permanent mail in votes with no identification using Dominion voting machines with no audits - and Republicans exposed themselves to be the other half of the uniparty.
no it doesn't. logically, the presidential election has either been rigged for a while or it was rigged this year against trump specifically. i can believe either one but not both.
there are many people saying that somehow trump broke through the systemic rigging that has been going for a while in 2016. i mean i guess if you squint and have a really good story attached to it i will humor you. but in reality he's just a smarter, richer and more famous but less politically connected ronald reagan.
my opinion if you care: there is no "system" it's just all roving gangs and semi-organized crime. that doesn't mean legit people never get elected or that everything's rigged always all the time. if i thought that i'd be forming a caravan out of here pronto.
No establishment person
We were all joyful on r/the_donald on Election night 2016, and have been through A LOT since, from the attacks from Reddit, the disloyal opposition relentless attacks on President Trump, the fucking Chynavirus.
Last great moment we had was the SOTU speech 11 months ago.
There was a relentless campaign to maximize misery in order to tip the scales for the Leftards come Election Day...and it worked.
Instead of mounting a sane challenge, we've had Kraken, Lin Woods, Rudy and Q buffoons in bison hats crashing the Capitol.
It has been a shit sandwich.
my point is that there are motherfuckers on this board dooming right now that were actually upset when trump won in 2016. hell, some of those people at the capitol didn't vote for trump in 2016.
shit changes. we're all individuals so do what you want with your time and life, but the bottom line is that this experience of the 2020 election (and other bs) only strengthens my resolve to get involved it doesn't weaken it.
As Rush says, Dems always over reach. We must focus on 2022: getting rid of Dominion in the republican controlled swing states that caused this mess in the first place. Those Republican legislatures owe us. Then secondly, we must focus on local elections and taking over school boards and city councils. Look how fucked up Portland and Seattle are, all by virtue of their city councils. And thirdly we much change the school curriculum: something is horribly wrong when over half of millennials think socialism is a good idea.
rush is right an astonishingly high % of the time. honestly i just think we need to get in where we fit in, meaning the answer will be different for each and every one of us.
also, if trump himself ran again he gets my vote along with any other person who i personally believe in. that's just how i've always rolled and honestly what i thought a big part of this whole thing was all about. i actually believed in the guy along with agreeing with him. it took me 4-5 election cycles of voting for president but finally a guy ran who i thought deserved my vote.
we should all feel free do what we want to do but i don't understand people championing permanent disengagement right now. it just doesn't make any sense in all honesty.
I didnt have to hold my nose to vote for Trump like I had to for the Bushes, Romney, McCain, Dole etc.
What do we engage in?
The Republican party sold us out. All but a small handful.
In doing so they exposed that McCain and Romney/Ryan already sold us out in 2008 and 2012 to make sure Obama got elected.
Out SCOTUS judges sold us out.
We've bought into the two-party system for so long. The Dems are evil - and the Republicans are nothing but fake opposition to make us feel like we have a choice.
The one man who had even a chance to upset the entire system just got royally fucked by the Republicans. His supporters - US - are now labeled white domestic terrorists.
We're like abolitionists fighting against slavery in 1775. If we're lucky we may see a backlash in 20 years - and that's only if we can get voter ID and legit elections.
But Biden is about to make 20 million illegal immigrants citizens so we're totally fucked. At least until the next generation who is going to fight the uniparty.
