If Trump wanted to absolutely destroy just about EVERY conservative including the very few with spines' chances of ever winning any elections ever again (not every race was compromised in 2020) then this would be the PERFECT way to go about it.
No MAGA candidate would win from the federal level down to local dogcatcher, unless you live in the middle of bum fuck nowhere. Duverger's Law proves that Democrats would take over just about every single one of those spots if a powerful 3rd party was formed. That's literally THE reason Trump even ran as a "Republican" in the first place because he knew this, the reason Ron and Rand ran as "Republicans", and the reason Bernie ran as a "Democrat".
Doesn’t matter, we live in a de facto one party state in which the Republicans are controlled opposition.
We need to form a patriot party and use our candidates to torpedo any and all RINO candidates. I’ll take the dems over RINOs now. We won’t run people against MAGA Republicans but we will torpedo any and all Romney’s, McCains, Paul Ryan, and Mitch McConnells. No more.
