I also stopped using Amazon a few years ago after the whole washington post democracy dies in darkness bs. Breaking the addiction to cheap shit you don't need is hard at first but it's so much better in the long run. You end up with higher quality stuff and become much less wasteful, which liberals would like if they weren't hypocrites. I also buy most of my clothes second hand since the internet has made that really easy and affordable, it's not like crapshoot of going to a thrift store back in the day.

I tie up both companies employees, and make Amazon do next day deliveries to me only to return their products, which I know often don't get restocked and are sold in bulk auctions at a steep discount.
Once I return something, the balance goes back on the giftcard, and I repeat the process. Gotta take some shoes back tomorrow. Then I'm going to buy some more shit to return.
