Many times throughout history, the ruled have exchanged roles with rulers.
We were always "ruled". We just believed in a different set of rules than these yahoos do. We accepted their eccentricities unaware they meant political change, not just personal musings. I've watched people says 'komrade' on Twitch for years thinking it was a joke. It wasn't a joke to them after all.
It's better that people gather resources, think about effective responses, and organize. What's clear is that leadership is lacking.
Another thing needed is a communication system not bound by those that would restrict, or smear, or isolate, or exclude those with something to say. Ideally one that a government can't just turn off - at will.
Don't you think Twitter grinds their teeth when they see a post somewhere on Gab or Parler that they can't attach a "fact check" to. When they kick people off their network they also lose control over pushing a counter narrative too. They are learning that one, quickly. As any of these groups kick people away, they also remove their ability to read their "private messages" or non-public conversations - the ability is gone to advertise to them or promote topics - they can no longer combat them with alternate narratives - they lose CONTROL.
I think more than anything what I see is that "they" (whoever your they may be) desires to outcast the other side. That's just something people have to learn to accept. We thought it was a united country. We learn now it is not.
What we are realizing is what we should have always known - the government will not protect us and they are not our saviours. For short lengths people inside government can make changes but permanence is rarely assured without homogeny.
Personally, I think it's healthy to step away, regroup and plan the future rather than doing something brash, bold, and personally destructive.
What you know is that you HAVE an enemy (enemies?). They are OPEN about it. They wear uniforms, they have names, they have even told you about their machinations. That's a bonus and since they are willing to exclude you, they are also willing to exclude learning about your future ideas. That can be in your favor if you allow it to be.
What you also know from the election cheating is that they are willing to cheat, lie, and steal. This means they cannot be good neighbors or friends to their own kind. They will be subject to infighting and suspicion due to their own activities. They all seek the same throne so will fight over that too. While they are fighting each other, strengthen yourself - what else is logical to do but that?
Prepare and watch should be your next step. Prepare with the knowledge that your government is no longer what it was. You can call it the "former US" if you like, that suits me when I think about it. I now think of the US as different than when I was a child and it should be dealt with as different (no more blind 'merica-ing).
