I had to have a hard conversation with my parents after the election. They wasted a lot of their savings over the years supporting my deadbeat libshit siblings and were counting on their one successful child to help them in their old age. They are also CNN fans, Biden voters, and TDS sufferers. After the election I told them I wouldn't be able to support them in any way going forward. I had planned to set money aside for that purpose, but they just helped elect someone that is going to cost me tens of thousands of dollars in taxes and earning potential, so I'll be needing that money for my own retirement.
