Surely we know that splitting the Republican Party into the GOP and the MAGA party would ensure eternal democrat control once they add DC and Puerto Rico as states. Let’s be realistic.

Not necessarily. I just realized today that independents and third party members can caucus with the major parties. Like Bernie and Angus King caucus with Dems. This is they way it's done in Europe, you create coalition governments.
Just gotta be strategic about where you run candidates. Focus more on the rural areas where Dems aren't competitive.
