Before GEOTUS I cared very little about politics.
I was born during the Reagan presidency.
I was in daycare during Daddy Bush and remember learning about war at this time during Desert Storm.
I was in Elementary school when I learned that presidents can be bad people and cheat on their wives during the Slick Willie administration.
I was in high school for Baby Bush and 9/11
The first time I was old enough to vote, Obama won, so my vote didn't matter. Then despite our failing economy and me losing my job he was voted in AGAIN!!!
I have always loved America, but after seeing failed politician after failed politician in my young life, I never dreamed I could put much hope into one.
Trump has awakened the sleeping patriot within me, he has forced me to see why I have no faith in politicians and why I cannot remain complacent. I do believe the best is yet to come, not because he is going to pull off some grand finale, but because I'm not the only person who he has woken up. We're alert and we're not happy.
I had long forgotten that America was a republic and the politicians work for us and not the other way around.
I am thankful that he has made me see the truth. I will forever love President Trump.
I shed a tear. No President loved this country more.
