Is there some law preventing him from running after getting 2 impeachments?

Without getting convicted he is free to run. Impeachment means nothing without the other half.

If he's convicted of one, then no.

Otherwise they could impeach him once a week till then and he could still run.

The thing people are mistaken about the first impeachment is that it was thrown out by the Senate. He was acquitted. If the Senate goes along with it he will actually be impeached and will not be able to run again.

He was acquitted in the senate the 1st time & if they impeach him now, it will be after he leaves office and probably not constitutional.

Not if the second impeachment is completed AFTER the inauguration. They can vote on whether to allow him to run in 2024, but at that point it would only be a resolution, as he will be a private citizen.

At this point they would have to be called back into session on inauguration day (taking attention away from Biden), and complete impeachment in record time.

Well if the first one didnt stop him from running this time why would another fake impeachment stop him in the future?

In the Constitution if a President is Impeached for Insurrection they can't hold any office again

Not true. You must be impeached in the house AND convicted by 2/3 vote in the Senate.

Trump has not been convicted in the senate for either, so none of it matters.

The House of Representatives is largely ceremonial in that it drafts articles of impeachment to be tried as a case in front of the senate. The trial in the senate is the real thing.

Since before Clinton, the idea of articles of impeachment was serious. Now it's just made up bullshit these idiots read in a newspaper.
