1000% on board. I have interviewed and hired 1-2k employees for different companies I have worked for and can sniff a trouble maker out usually before they open their mouths. They happen to be lefties 100% of the time. Occasionally, for whatever reason, I can at times get a feeling that someone is possibly worth a shot with the knowledge that we can move along without worry if they present an issue within the first 90 day's. Fuck it, for now on, NONE will get the chance to operate in the real world and maybe be positively affected by being provided a growth opportunity.
These people are openly calling me a racist because I am white and a male and advocating violence and at minimum, reprogramming for 80 million other adults and I because of our leaning towards one of the 2 political parties represented in our government. I will not do a thing to give any one of them a fucking hand up or a fair shake.
They HATE us for supporting a man who they refused to ever give a single chance, a moment of uninterrupted time to serve our country or an ounce of credit for the many incredible accomplishments he achieved. I do not consider that kind of individual to be capable of being an asset to any company and will NOT ever hire a democrat or progressive or whatever the fuck they identify as ever again. PROMISE!

I'm in a bind because I'd worked in an academia-adjacent field, so it was with a lot of leftists. And this region is very liberal in general.... I just want a sane place to work. :(
Being in IT sucks because of all the lefties. You would think logic programming would activate their almonds but nope. They program because they are lazy and don't want to do physical work while wanting someone else to take care of them.
My current boss doesn't know how to use power tools.
If your skill lends itself to working remote you can find lots of conservative value companies and corporations to work with. You'll get the vibe from them if they are focused more on producing and results rather than the latent activism agenda. If your skill set lends itself to on-site only work, then research the owners, research everything about their reviews before you sign on. Good help is in short supply today, so the ball is in your court to decide who you want to work for.
