I don't think an Assange pardon would change Assange's situation. We've all seen that the government does not respect the will of the people nor the will of Trump. Even if Trump pardoned Assange, it would only serve to goad Assange into seeking passage to the US where he would be extrajudicially kidnapped by black ops or the FBI ala Roger Stone.

Meanwhile, pardoning Assange would piss all the wrong people off. I love Assange, I really do. He's one of the big reasons I joined the_donald back on Reddit and have stuck around this long. But pardoning him serves ultimately no purpose imo.

That's cope. Pardoning Assange means they have to come up with new bullshit to harm him.

It's not cope, it's the truth. An Assange pardon is symbolic at best. The enemy we're fighting doesn't care about the rules. They have no intent to uphold and respect a Trump pardon if it stands in the way of them consolidating power. They will and have done anything and everything to attain that power. What's one more trumped up charge added to the list?

You don’t understand how pardons work. Not only would a pardon kill the DOJ case against him and immediately free him, but it could be written broadly enough to prevent other prosecution against previous things he has done.
