I'm not who you replied to. If I remember right, Trump's EO banning government employees later lobbying the government only applied to his administration. I think he is now allowing his people to lobby because the democrats still have all their former government lobbyists. Perhaps Trump himself willy become a lobbyist?

In 2017, Trump barred government officials from lobbying and becoming part of The Swamp after they leave government jobs.
Now, he just revoked the executive order.
