I donated to the wall & I would do it again. I think it's important. They did build parts of the wall. I'm pretty sure that SDNY DA is the one that was behind Bannon & brian kolfage being arrested. Which means the whole thing stinks & they probably did nothing wrong.
(AFAIK) I don’t think what they did was wrong. Brian started the project and said ALL money would go to fund the wall. The project got big and Bannon stepped in to help. Bannon gave Brian a salary. That’s what the big deal was. Brian took money from the non profit.
Funny how you can be a ceo of a non profit for “huts for Hindu’s”(fake name) and make millions, but if your the ceo of a non profit Build the Wall and take $100,000 after doing it all for free for over a year, you go to prison.
It becomes illegal when you state numerous times that "100% of donations will go to the wall" and you set up shell cooperations to hide money transfers of tge donations to yourself. Go read the indictment, we're not talking about a "salary" here.
There's actually quite a big difference between just grabbing money from your not profit and taking a salary in a disclosed up-front way. A salary would have been fine, stealing from your donors isn't.
