Trump knows better than this and ultimately will not happen. He toyed with third party long ago, wanting to run in the reform party. Farage had great success with his own party because it was single issue Brexit. It will take a lot to get traditional republicans who also support trump, to part with their party.
yes he toyed with it a long time ago. but what has happened since then. he became President and now has a good 80 million supporters.
no other human before, now or in future besides DJT could start a third party that is successful.
its easy to talk about third party but building an infrastructure for it is extremely difficult. The two major parties are mainly maintained by a national county network of dedicated volunteers. Trump can win a third party ticket but to really go third party for candidates to support you is another story. Trump already has a lot of support within the party. ALl he needs to do is get rid of the corrupt leadership that has the party in grip.
