yes he toyed with it a long time ago. but what has happened since then. he became President and now has a good 80 million supporters.
no other human before, now or in future besides DJT could start a third party that is successful.
its easy to talk about third party but building an infrastructure for it is extremely difficult. The two major parties are mainly maintained by a national county network of dedicated volunteers. Trump can win a third party ticket but to really go third party for candidates to support you is another story. Trump already has a lot of support within the party. ALl he needs to do is get rid of the corrupt leadership that has the party in grip.
